The fact that these two clusters associated so strongly around eye widening and narrowing surprised the researchers: The eye-widening cluster was associated with mental states related to information sensitivity, including awe, anticipation, cowardice, and interest. The eye-narrowing cluster was associated with mental states related to social discrimination, including hate, suspicion, aggressiveness, and contempt. ![]() And these ratings were reliably higher than those for other mental states paired with the same eye expression.Īdditional analyses examining the relationship between specific eye features and mental states revealed four distinct clusters, two of which aligned with eye-narrowing and eye-widening features. People consistently matched the eye expressions with the corresponding basic emotion, rating “fear” as a strong match for the fear eye expression, for example. The researchers then analyzed how these mental state perceptions related to specific eye features: the openness of the eye the distance from the eyebrow to the eye the slope and curve of the eyebrow and wrinkles around the nose, the temple, and below the eye.Ĭombined ratings from the 28 participants showed that the eyes really do provide a strong signal of emotional state. Each participant completed a total of 600 trials. On each trial, participants saw a pair of eyes (one of the six exemplars) and a word representing a specific mental state, and they rated the extent to which the mental-state term described the eye expression. Using photos of faces included in widely-used databases, the researchers created average exemplars of six expressions (i.e., sadness, disgust, anger, joy, fear, surprise). Lee and Anderson hypothesized that these opposing types of expressions, which originated for optical purposes, may have been co-opted for social purposes, operating as signals of conceptually related mental states. Narrowing our eyes to a squint, on the other hand, can increase visual acuity, helping us to discriminate fine details. Opening our eyes wide boosts visual sensitivity by allowing more light in, helping us to see any threats that might lurk nearby. “His theories on how expression appearance evolved to have a sensory function for the sender showed how it also co-evolved to have communication function for the receiver.” Anderson of Cornell University wanted to understand how our expressions came to communicate so many complex emotions and mental states. The idea that our facial expressions communicate emotion isn’t new – but Lee and co-author Adam K. “Narrowing the eyes for visual scrutiny also communicates scrutiny.” “For example, if you’re watching ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ and wonder why when Larry David squints his eyes that conveys scrutiny, our work offers a theory that explains it,” Lee explains. “This is a clear demonstration of emotional embodiment, from sender to receiver.” ![]() Lee of the University of Colorado Boulder. “Our findings show that how we see directly relates to how others see us, through our facial expressions,” says psychological scientist Daniel H. The research reveals, for example, that people consistently associate narrowed eyes – which can enhance visual discrimination – with discrimination-related emotions including disgust and suspicion. We use others’ eyes – whether they’re widened or narrowed – to infer emotional states, and the inferences we make align with the optical function of those expressions, according to new research published in Psychological Science, a journal of the Association for Psychological Science. ![]()

If you know the screen name of the person you are looking to see videos of, this is a top spot to find tons of content. Due to the lack of categories, people may find themselves doing a little bit more browsing than they might on other websites. Many of the videos on the website have multiple people featured in them, and while there is not a categories or tags section of the website you can get information about whether the videos are in HD, when the videos posted, the account the videos posted from, and the number of views videos have. Using a basic search engine, people can get to a lot of different fantasy clips. How does it hold up? Search And Sort Options As a website that has over 2 million porn movies on it, the searching, sorting, and navigation are an essential part of the user experience. Whether you are looking for a babe who focuses on lingerie and cocktail dresses, or you are looking for a punk rock princess with dark makeup, tattoos, and piercings, RecTube provides plenty of content for your desires. Some of them are more direct, others are more erotic, and you can find many different personal styles as well. The personalities of the babes on the site are also distinctive, with many playful, sassy, and seductive women. With over 2 million videos on the website, however, there are plenty of people within each ethnicity represented. There is not a distinctive way to search for people of specific ethnicities, which for some will be a positive and for those who are looking for sex between people of specific nationalities it could be a little bit of a con. There are numerous ethnicities also featured on the RecTube website, though a larger majority of the sex and masturbation films on the site feature Caucasian performers. That said, there are ways to search and filter the films to get what you are interested in most quickly. None of these movies are featuring three hours straight of nonstop sexual activity. This is because there is conversation between the girls and the fans, as well as some downtime, in many cases. Due to the way the scenes are organized, you may need to scroll through the scenes if you are specifically looking for masturbation or sex. ![]() Some of the women on the site also share a variety of longer shows and performances with their fans, including movies that can be up to three hours in length. Many of the videos on the website are over half an hour in length, though there are some shorter films as well that come in around five minutes. There are many tiny and petite nubile babes, an excellent number of BBW women, fantastic guys with dicks of all sizes, small tits, big tits, and more. ![]() Each area of the RecTube site has tons of videos to browse, and you can discover new porn crushes with tons of different body types. Body Types FeaturedĪnother place porn lovers can find distinctive variety is in the body types that are found on the website. This allows people to sort through the trans sex scenes on the website quickly and easily. In the top right-hand corner of the site itself, you can select a tab if you are looking to preview videos of a specific type only. This is followed by couples sex, lesbian sex, gay sex, and so on. Solo masturbation, couples sex, lesbian sex, gay sex, trans fun, and group sex are all featured on RecTube, though solo female performers are the most prominent ones on the site. I can't speak to downloading from / interacting with financial institution data with either Quicken or MD. I do have a virtual machine on my Mac that emulates my old WinXP box and I installed Quicken on it so I would still have access to those files if I ever needed them. However, I *did* keep my quicken data files and the installation cd. Eventually, I decided that for me, MD was better so I dropped Quicken. I ended up just starting fresh with MD and using both of them for about 3 months so that I could see where things went in MD. The double-entry concept took a while to get my head wrapped around since I was accustomed to Quicken's limited "check register" entry style. One of the reasons, for me, had to do with the fact that MD is a true double-entry accounting program whereas Quicken was not (no idea if it is now). When I first started, with only 5 years or so of Quicken data, I too had several things that did not import correctly. Sadly, your best bet would be to make a clean break and start fresh with MD. Does MoneyDance support that? Other than that, for someone starting fresh, I can believe MoneyDance is every bit as good as Quicken. I didn't look at the transaction download feature. I'm sure some of this is a matter of familiarity but I think there is more to it than that. The general interface is more confusing (busy?) than Quicken's.This may explain some of the odd import results. I noticed that MoneyDance only offered import via QIF file which Intuit has deprecated and suggested that if used, they should only be used for cash accounts. Going though the whole thing to verify all the transactions would be a daunting task. A few transactions with odd-ball dates (year 3168, etc.) These had "unknown" categories and I could not locate the corresponding Quicken transactions. I found some things that didn't import properly.I was surprised that it looked pretty good! It seemed to do a good job of sniffing out transfers from one account to another (like paying credit cards, etc). I highly recommend it to anyone that asks about Quicken. It has good reporting functionality and works well for investment tracking. I bought an IMac and ended up switching from Quicken to Moneydance. ![]() Flossy21 wrote:I was a Quicken user from about 1997 to around 2011 or so. ![]() ![]() ![]()

I taste tested this with three other people, each of us our own dram, and we were all left wondering if we were somehow sent the wrong scotch. The following figure is an example of a simple class: Simple class diagram with attributes and operations (Click on the template to edit it online) They are used to show the different objects in a system, their attributes, their operations, and the relationships among them. What are the Class Diagrams?Ĭlass diagrams are the main building block in object-oriented modeling. Browse our class diagram examples and pick the one that’s closely related to your system. You can get started immediately using our professionally designed class diagrams. Create a class diagramĭrawing from scratch can be cumbersome. This significantly reduced your chances of making a mistake. Our connectors adjust to the context and show only the most logical relationships when connecting classes. We’ve given a lot of thought to relationships when we built our class diagramming tools. In the example, the printing preferences that are set using the printer setup interface are being implemented by the printer. To show the relationship in UML, a broken line with an unfilled solid arrowhead is drawn from the class that defines the functionality of the class that implements the function. Realizationĭenotes the implementation of the functionality defined in one class by another class. To show inheritance in a UML diagram, a solid line from the child class to the parent class is drawn using an unfilled arrowhead. In other words, the child class is a specific type of the parent class. Refers to a type of relationship wherein one associated class is a child of another by virtue of assuming the same functionalities of the parent class. To show a composition relationship in a UML diagram, use a directional line connecting the two classes, with a filled diamond shape adjacent to the container class and the directional arrow to the contained class. For example, a shoulder bag’s side pocket will also cease to exist once the shoulder bag is destroyed. That is, the contained class will be obliterated when the container class is destroyed. with the only difference being its key purpose of emphasizing the dependence of the contained class to the life cycle of the container class. The composition relationship is very similar to the aggregation relationship. To show aggregation in a diagram, draw a line from the parent class to the child class with a diamond shape near the parent class. In the same example, books will remain so even when the library is dissolved. In aggregation, the contained classes are not strongly dependent on the lifecycle of the container. For example, the class “library” is made up of one or more books, among other materials. Refers to the formation of a particular class as a result of one class being aggregated or built as a collection. The notation 0.* in the diagram means “zero to many”. For example, one fleet may include multiple airplanes, while one commercial airplane may contain zero to many passengers. Is the active logical association when the cardinality of a class in relation to another is being depicted. If the maintenance crew member is managed by the aviation engineer there could be a managed by relationship in two instances of the same class. For example, a staff member working in an airport may be a pilot, aviation engineer, ticket dispatcher, guard, or maintenance crew member. This occurs when a class may have multiple functions or responsibilities. The arrowhead depicts a container-contained directional flow. Refers to a directional relationship represented by a line with an arrowhead. For example, passengers and airline may be linked as above. Is a broad term that encompasses just about any logical connection or relationship between classes.
